Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta, the only insurance company specialized in health insurance, has accelerated its efforts toward achieving its 2030 goals with a senior-level appointment. With nearly 25 years of experience, Aslıhan Duymaz has been appointed as the General Manager of Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta. Having served as Acting General Manager since May, the experienced insurance professional will officially assume her role as General Manager on January 1, 2025.
Aslıhan Duymaz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Boğaziçi University and a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of London, City. She began her professional career in 2000 at Commercial Union Hayat A.Ş. Between 2004 and 2006, Aslıhan Duymaz worked in the Planning Department of Ak Emeklilik A.Ş., focusing on actuarial modeling, budgeting, and commission reporting. From 2009 to 2012, she served as Group Manager responsible for pricing and reporting at Aegon Hayat ve Emeklilik A.Ş., where she played an active role in establishing the company’s actuarial department, conducting actuarial modeling for international reporting, and contributing to the company's BI (Business Intelligence) reporting projects.
Between 2012 and 2017, she worked at Aon Hewitt Türkiye as an actuary and manager, overseeing pension, financial services, and insurance services. From 2017 to 2021, she was Director at KPMG Financial Services Advisory, specializing in consulting and auditing for the insurance sector. She continued at KPMG as a Partner from 2022 to 2023.
In April 2023, she joined Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta as Deputy General Manager for Actuarial, Corporate Pricing, Data Analytics, Data Technology Office, Medical Evaluation, and Claims. In May 2024, she was appointed Acting General Manager. As of January 1, 2025, Aslıhan Duymaz will officially continue her role as General Manager of Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta. |
