Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, with over thirty-three years of experience in the insurance industry, has become the new General Manager of Magdeburger Sigorta, which operates under the Bor Holding umbrella and is among the prominent insurance companies globally with its long-standing history.
Having a career in the insurance sector filled with success stories spanning over thirty-three years, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu took the helm as the General Manager of Magdeburger Sigorta on September 15th.
Magdeburger Sigorta, which began its operations under the Bor Holding umbrella in 2018, has maintained its position in the sector with its competent workforce, strong agency network, and innovative approach. In 2022, Magdeburger Sigorta initiated strategic transformation processes and, with top-level appointments, is now ready to script new success stories.

With his innovative vision, Hancıoğlu has achieved many firsts in the industry. After graduating from the Private Saint-Michel French High School in 1984 and completing his education by graduating from the Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration in 1988, he began his professional career in 1990 at AGF Garanti Sigorta. After five years in this position, he was appointed as the Technical Group Director. From 1995 to 1997, he continued his role as the Istanbul Regional Director at Commercial Union Sigorta. Starting from 1997, he successively served as the Technical Assistant General Manager at Emek Sigorta, Kapital Sigorta, Axa Oyak Sigorta, Şeker Sigorta, and Güven Sigorta.
In 2007, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu became the Technical and Corporate Sales Deputy General Manager at Finans Sigorta. In 2008, he assumed the role of Deputy General Manager for Ergo Sigorta Emeklilik ve Hayat Satış. In 2009, he was appointed as the Technical Deputy General Manager at HDI Sigorta, and as of 2013, he continued his role as the CEO of HDI Sigorta. During his tenure, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu made significant contributions to the company's transformation and played an important role in company acquisitions and achieving financial growth goals. |
