Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik became the first private pension company to reach 1.5 million
participants in Voluntary BES
 
 

Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik’s number of participants in the Voluntary Private Pension System (BES) has reached 1.5 million. With a 16.4% market share in the voluntary BES participant category, the company leads among private pension companies. Additionally, it maintains its pioneering position in the sector with a 23% market share in the number of people who have retired from the system. Out of the 310,000 people who have retired from the Individual Pension System, 72,000 have earned their retirement through Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik.

Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik, which successfully continues its operations by serving a total of 5 million customers in the individual pension and life insurance sectors, became the first private pension company to reach 1.5 million participants in the Voluntary Private Pension System (BES), which has been in operation since October 2003. According to current data, the fund size of voluntary BES participants, including state contributions, has reached 178 billion TL, stated Murat Atalay, General Manager of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik. "We are proud that since our company's founding in 1990, we have become one of the most preferred companies in the life insurance and individual pension sectors. According to the data published by the Pension Monitoring Center on July 12, we became the first private pension company to exceed 1.5 million participants in the voluntary BES. To put it another way, 1.5 million people are currently securing their future and saving under Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik. Our 'BES for My Child' product, which has been on sale since 2021, continues to be the most preferred individual pension product for those under 18. As of June 14, 2024, we became the first company to reach 300,000 children in this customer group. According to current data, the percentage of our participants under 18 within our total voluntary BES participants has reached 20.6%. Our child customers have played a significant role in us becoming the first private pension company to reach 1.5 million voluntary BES participants. The savings of children who enter the system at an early age are supported both by staying in the system for a long time and by the 30% state contribution advantage. This creates an additional benefit specifically for children. We place great importance on the inclusion of under-18 participants in the system in terms of the sustainability of BES.”
