Hakan Orhun, who has led numerous successful projects in the e-commerce sector for many years, has been appointed as General Manager Responsible for Yepy and Second-Hand Shopping at sahibinden.com.
A graduate of Boğaziçi University’s Mechanical Engineering Department, Orhun began his professional career at Boğaziçi Yazılım. He later took on roles at Arçelik, serving as a Product Development Engineer and Laboratory Coordinator. With extensive experience in the home appliances sector, Orhun holds four patents for projects he developed in this field. Hakan Orhun was involved in the founding phase of Teknosa and later played a key role in establishing and managing Kliksa, a Sabancı Holding company.
Between 2020 and 2021, he served as Director of Corporate Communications and Customer Services and Deputy General Manager for Operations at Metro İstanbul. From 2021 to 2023, he was the General Manager of İSPARK A.Ş.
Orhun also served as the President of the Electronic Commerce Operators Association (ETİD) for seven years, bringing together e-commerce companies in Turkey. Simultaneously, he provided management consultancy to several companies in Turkey and the United States in areas such as e-commerce, reorganization, and digital transformation.
