Following Allianz Tower and Allianz Campus, Allianz Turkey’s regional offices have also achieved ‘Green Office’ certification by successfully meeting targets such as lower emissions and consumption, creating an environmentally respectful workspace, and advancing green transformation.
With a sustainable value creation model focused on the areas of ‘good environment,’ ‘good society,’ and ‘good institution,’ Allianz Turkey has reached another of its goals to transform its operations according to sustainability principles. As part of its efforts to combat climate change, Allianz Turkey not only provides products and services that support the transformation of its ecosystem but also works to minimize the environmental impact of its operations. In 2019, Allianz Turkey successfully completed WWF-Turkey’s Green Office Green Transformation Program with its headquarters, Allianz Tower and Allianz Campus. Allianz Turkey has earned the WWF-Turkey Green Office Diploma by expanding its ecological footprint reduction practices across all its regional offices. This achievement means that all of Allianz Turkey’s offices are now certified as Green Offices.
As part of WWF-Turkey’s Green Office Green Transformation Program, which aims to encourage organizations to make nature-friendly choices, Allianz Turkey successfully implemented measurable actions for lower emissions and consumption in its regional offices. Through the participation of voluntary employees, awareness of climate change, biodiversity, conscious use of natural resources, and consumption habits was increased, leading to a transformation of the corporate culture. At the end of one year of efforts, the regional offices achieved the Green Office Diploma by meeting numerical targets.
Allianz Tower and Allianz Campus, which produce energy using solar and wind power through environmentally friendly actions, also hold the LEED Platinum and LEED Gold certifications awarded to green buildings by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Allianz Tower, which received the LEED Platinum certification in the BC+C Core and Shell category, is recognized as Turkey’s first tower to earn the LEED Platinum Certification. |
