Anadolu Sigorta achieved a premium production of 18.2 billion TL in the first six months of 2023, marking a 102% increase in premium production compared to the same period last year.

The company's total assets reached 45.7 billion TL, and the portfolio size directed towards investments grew by 38% to 24.2 billion TL, compared to the same period of the previous year. The investment income obtained from the managed portfolio increased from 15% in the same period of the previous year to 30% this year.

The company recorded a net profit of 2.9 billion TL at the end of the first 6 months, showing a remarkable 674% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. The average return on equity was realized at 59%.

According to the announced results, Anadolu Sigorta's highest premium production was in the "Motor Vehicles" category with 4.9 billion TL. This was followed by "Fire and Natural Disasters" with 3.7 billion TL, "Motor Vehicles Liability" with 3.6 billion TL, and "Health" with 2.4 billion TL.

Mehmet Tuğtan, the CEO of Anadolu Sigorta, highlighted the progress made in improving the company's financial results, which is one of the most important goals of their medium-term strategic plan, in relation to the results of the first half of the year. Tuğtan stated, "The sector's volume is growing, and thanks to the right steps we have taken, we are increasing our premium production at Anadolu Sigorta. However, for our company, sustainable growth is just as important as increased premium production, as well as creating value for all stakeholders through this approach. The nearly 3 billion TL profit we achieved in the first six months, influenced by the selective policies we implement in risk acceptance, indicates that we are on the right path.”

In the future, Tuğtan expressed that they will focus on providing an exceptional customer experience through easier, faster, and innovative insurance processes, as well as contributing to the welfare and happiness of society through technology-supported sustainable solutions. He continued, "In recent years, we have experienced many crises both on a national and international level. The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the necessity of health insurance, and the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes on February 6th showed how critical DASK and home insurance are. At Anadolu Sigorta, we have always focused on our policyholders during times of crisis. We strive to be there for our policyholders as quickly and accurately as possible in the event of a claim. As we always say, we will continue to produce tirelessly, create value, and work to transfer this value back to society for the land that makes us who we are.”
