Since 2013, Mr. Ceyhan Hancıoğlu has been serving as the General Manager at HDI Sigorta. Following approval from the sigorta and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Institution, he will hand over his position to his colleague, Ms. Firuzan İşcan.
After the completion of the legal process, it is expected that Firuzan İşcan, who will take over the role from Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, will officially begin her duties on August 16, 2023. At the conclusion of his ten years as the General Manager, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, who will depart from HDI Sigorta under the most amicable conditions, will continue his career with different opportunities.
Firuzan İşcan, who has held high-level positions in Turkey's leading companies, most recently as the Deputy General Manager in charge of Sales and Marketing at AXA Sigorta, is expected to assume her new role. Throughout her career spanning over twenty years, she has implemented pioneering steps towards sustainable profitable growth, achieved remarkable results in sales organizations and new product development, and consistently enhanced the organization's culture and sense of belonging among employees.
During his 14 years as a Board Member and 10 years as the General Manager, Ceyhan Hancıoğlu, who has been a key contributor to the company's transformation and successful growth, HDI Sigorta A.Ş. has witnessed significant progress. Under his leadership, from 2013, the company's premium volume has grown from 187 million Euros to 867 million Euros. Furthermore, he played a crucial role in the acquisitions of Liberty Sigorta A.Ş. completed in 2018, Ergo Sigorta A.Ş. completed in 2019, Fiba Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. completed in 2022, and the establishment of HDI Katılım Sigorta A.Ş. at the beginning of 2023.
