According to the announcement made on August 3, 2023, by Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik; General Manager Atilla Benli has resigned from his position. The company has made the necessary notification to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding this matter.
In accordance with Law No. 5684 on Insurance, the president of Türkiye Sigorta Birliği (Turkey Insurance Association), which is the guiding organization of the insurance sector in our country, is required to be elected from among the authorized representatives of member companies. This situation implies the end of Mr. Benli's tenure as the President of Türkiye Sigorta Birliği.
Türkiye Sigorta Birliği announced that an Extraordinary General Assembly will be held within two months to elect the new President. During this period, Türkiye Sigorta Birliği stated that the duties of the President will be temporarily assumed by Taylan Türkölmez, one of the Vice Presidents of Türkiye Sigorta Birliği.
The announcement from the association included the following statement: "As the TSB family, we express our thanks to Mr. Benli for his valuable contributions and vision he brought to life over the course of four years, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors on behalf of the TSB management and the industry.” |
