Number of Employees in the

Insurance Sector Increased by 8%

According to end-of-2024 data, a total of 19,485 people are employed in insurance,
private pension (BES), and reinsurance companies in Türkiye. When direct sales
personnel are also included, total employment in the sector reaches 27,540 people.
The sector, where female employees are in the majority, shows that 68.8% of
the personnel are university graduates, and 10.2% hold postgraduate degrees.
Considering all education levels, including direct sales personnel, the number of
employees who graduated from insurance or actuarial science programs is 5,280.
The sector continues to support youth employment by launching various projects,
especially to attract young people to related educational programs and increase
employment among younger generations.
