Türkiye Sigorta has become a signatory of the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles (UNWEP), which aims to ensure that women have a place in economic life at all levels and in all sectors, while promoting the empowerment of women.
The company signed the UNWEP program to support gender equality and help women strengthen their position in the workforce, contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world.
As part of its sustainability efforts, Türkiye Sigorta is adopting environmental and social company policies to support the spread of gender equality. The company operates under the principle of equal rights and opportunities for both male and female employees, embracing the motto "Equality for All." Aiming to create an inclusive corporate culture that thrives on diversity, Türkiye Sigorta has also earned the "Great Place to Work" certification for two consecutive years, recognizing it as one of the best workplaces based on employee satisfaction.
Turkey Sigorta's Director of Investor Relations, Şahika Balbay Demiroğlu, expressed pride in the higher number of female employees in the insurance sector compared to other industries.
