Filyos Castle

Filyos Castle, located in Çaycuma District of Zonguldak, was
built during the Middle Ages. This place, which we especially
recommend to people who do research on where to go in Zongul-
dak, has a pretty beautiful sea view. This castle, with immacu-
late beaches on its coast, becomes quite crowded in the summer
months.

Halil Pasha Mansion
Filyos Castle
According to estimates, this mansion, built in 1870, belonged to
Halil Pasha, one of the Sanjak Beys of Sultan Abdulhamit Han
II. There are many beautiful memories in this mansion, which has
a total of 4 floors. Halil Pasha Mansion, a kind of small Ethno-
graphic Museum, is also preferred because of its sea view. If you
are creating a Zonguldak plan, Zonguldak trip plan, definitely
include this mansion in your list.

The Cehennem Ağzı Mağarası, which is 50 kilometers away from
the city center of Zonguldak, is located in the center of Ereğli

Ereğli Castle

Eregli Castle is located at the last part of our list of places to visit
in Zonguldak. This castle, which belongs to the Byzantine period,
shows more interest to foreign tourists than to domestic tourists.
Located in a fairly high area, the castle has a unique view. We
suggest you come here, even just because of the view.
