         EXHIBITION

         Rewind / Slovenia Exhibition
         Dates: Thursday, November 06, 2025 ~ Sunday, December 28, 2025
Location: CerModern Center for Modern Arts

A special exhibition bringing together artists from Türkiye and Slo-
venia meets art enthusiasts at CerModern between 6 November and
         28 December.

CerModern, one of Türkiye’s leading contemporary art centers, in-
vites visitors on a journey through the heart of Europe with its new
         exhibition featuring international artists.

The exhibition titled “Rewind / Slovenya – Slovenya Seyahati” (Rewind / Slovenia – Journey to Slovenia) opens its doors at
CerModern on 6 November. Curated by Erkan Doğanay, the exhibition features works by Hakan Esmer, Serdar Leblebici, Özgür
Eryılmaz, and Semih Kaplan from Türkiye, as well as renowned Slovenian artists Ive šubic and Maja šubic.

Continuing to host the works of distinguished artists, CerModern this time presents a narrative space centered around the con-
cepts of “geography, memory, and identity.” Running until 28 December, the exhibition makes cultural exchange among artists
visible while tracing the artistic dialogue established across different geographies.

A Journey Through Art in the Layers of Time

The exhibition is grounded in the idea that “a geography is not merely a physical place, but a whole composed of narratives in
which layers of time, memory, and identity intertwine.” The “Rewind” series represents a process rather than a result; it reaches
the audience as a reflection of co-creation, encounter, and enrichment through differences.

In this context, “Rewind / Slovenya” (Rewind / Slovenia) emerged from the works produced by Turkish artists during their
travels to Slovenia, combined with the collaborative creative process they established with Slovenian artists. The exhibition
highlights a form of togetherness that transcends artistic boundaries, built on a conceptual foundation of co-production, sharing,
         and engaging with place.
