Taylan Matkap, who has been serving as Corporate Strategy and Performance Management Manager at Anadolu Sigorta since 2021, has been appointed as Deputy General Manager on April 19, 2023.
After graduating from the Statistics Department at Ankara University, Taylan Matkap completed his graduate studies in Actuarial Sciences and Finance at Boston University. He started his professional career in the insurance sector in 2003. After working in various insurance companies, he started his career at Anadolu Sigorta as the Actuarial Department Manager in 2008. In 2021, he was appointed as the Head of Corporate Strategy and Performance Management.
On April 19, 2023, Taylan Matkap was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Anadolu Sigorta. Between 2018 and 2021, he served as the president of the Actuaries Association and worked on developing relations with the European Actuarial Association (AAE) and the International Actuarial Association (IAA) on behalf of the professional organization. Matkap, who is also a member of the Belgian Actuarial Institute (IABE), is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Istanbul University. |
