Operating on Bağdat Avenue with the motto “sustainable
living is possible even in the city,” Vertical aims to offer a
space that generates minimal waste and carbon footprint,
and promotes consumption as close as possible to the point
Vertical of production. It is also a vibrant living space filled with din-
ing, events, concerts, and educational activities. The venue
serves dishes prepared using harvests obtained through ver-
tical farming. In addition, partner brands such as Markus,
Nappo, and Ken Sushi can also be found under the Vertical
roof. There is also the Cocktail Lab, where a variety of de-
licious cocktails are served.
Food sustainability is of utmost importance at Vertical.
They convert food waste into compost or animal feed. The
basil, microgreens, and mushrooms grown in their vertical
farms are cultivated in an automated environment with zero
pesticides and chemicals.
In the experience area within Vertical, workshops and
training sessions on zero-waste living are organized; addi-
tionally, experiential dining that brings the farm-to-table
approach to the heart of the city is offered. It is also worth
noting that Vertical aims to source most of its ingredients
from women producers; the meats come from pastures,
fresh vegetables and fruits from good agricultural produc-
ers, and cheeses from nearby dairies.
Maison Mariel, a new-generation meeting point in Etil-
er that quickly draws attention, makes its character felt
from the very first step. Taking over the former Pixi
location, the venue has been widely talked about since
its opening in late 2025 for its energy, aesthetics, and Maison Mariel
atmosphere. Interpreting the relaxed spirit of the Med-
iterranean through a cinematic perspective, Maison
Mariel creates a space that feels familiar yet distinctly
new. High ceilings, layered lighting design, strong ar-
chitectural details, and an impressive bar area give the
venue a sophisticated yet inviting ambiance. The bar de-
sign, in particular, stands out as one of the most stylish
examples recently seen in Etiler. On the culinary side,
a modern Mediterranean approach takes center stage.
While lighter and more balanced dishes are preferred
during lunch service, the evening menu features greater
aromatic depth and more assertive flavors. Although the
chestnut soup may not exceed expectations, the gnocchi
and oven-baked ribs stand out for their taste. The service
is polite and attentive from the moment you arrive—
welcoming, detailed in presentation, and supported by
an engaged team. Offering not only delicious food but
also a strong experience centered on aesthetics, social
energy, and atmosphere, Maison Mariel is an excellent
choice for gatherings with friends, long conversations,
or a romantic dinner. As the venue continues to grow
in popularity, it is recommended to make a reservation.
