APHELEIA FRUNCH
Frunch, a small and charming cafe in Moda, was opened by
four entrepreneurial women who are graduates of ISTAN-
BUL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY’s engineering program.
The motto of the venue is “where friends meet for brunch,”
creating a very warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.
Drawing inspiration from their own experiences, they have
curated a menu of modern breakfast dishes. Sweet-savory
croissant sandwiches, open-faced delights, and toast plates
are interpreted to cater to various taste preferences. If
you were to ask about signature flavors, you can easily say
that Frunchy, named after the café itself, takes a promi-
nent place. This special flavor features salted caramel and
peanuts served between crispy croissant layers with pastry
cream. The croissants and bread come from the sister shop
Nicel Bakes and Scoops. Additionally, they source olive oil
and dried fruits from Muğla, cheese and deli products from
local producers in Kırklareli and Konya. And fresh daily
fruits and vegetables from the neighborhood greengrocer.
A few more menu recommendations include siyez flour
pastries, cherry crumble with ice cream, lavash toast, and
hazelnut spread cruffin. With its décor highlighting natu-
ral colors and wooden details, Frunch successfully offers a
simple and homely environment to its guests.

Apheleia, located on the unique terrace of SOHO HOUSE
ISTANBUL, has become one of the most ambitious venues
of the summer with its menu prepared by Athinagoras Ko-
stakos, the kitchen director of Soho Roc House and Scorpi-
os in Mykonos. Offering flavors from the Mexican-inspired
Greek Mykonos cuisine, Apheleia is situated on the rooftop
of the Palazzo Corpi building. Wooden tables, original ce-
ramic floor tiles, and warm lighting are standout elements
of Apheleia’s relaxed atmosphere. The delicious menu,
inspired by the Aegean, brings Soho House members and
guests from all over the world together for great food and
music. Every option on the menu surprises with its flavors.
Highlights among the menu options include wood-fired beef
souvlaki, calamari served in chili pepper sauce, black risot-
to served with jumbo shrimp, and rib-eye served with garlic
butter and thyme. Delightful snacks such as crispy kokoreç,
mini tacos served with tomato confit and chili yogurt, and
crispy pastry with baby spinach and feta cheese in spinach
pie salad also shine like stars on Apheleia’s menu. For ex-
periencing a Mykonos island taverna vibe with an Istanbul
view, Apheleia is the right address. It’s worth noting that
only Soho House members, their guests, and hotel guests
can make reservations at the venue.
