At the end of the second quarter of 2023, the total
number of participants in the Private Pension

System was 8 million 194 thousand people, while
the number of participants included in the system
through automatic participation turned out to
be 8 million 694 thousand people. During this

period, the total fund size of the BES was 466
billion 637 million TL, and the amount of funds
received from participants included in the system
through automatic participation was 37 billion

According to the data of the Pension Monitoring Center (E.G.M.) dated
30.06.2023; the total number of participants in BES increased by 740
thousand people compared to the same period of the previous year and
reached 8 million 194 thousand people at the of the second quarter of the
year. During this period, the number of participants included in the system
through automatic participation (OKS) increased by 960 thousand people
compared to the same period last year and amounted to 8 million 694 thou-
sand people.
