In Poyrazoğlu’s brand new project “Evlere Şenlik Habanera Makamı,” theater,
opera, and jazz music come together. Memories will wander through the back
streets, accompanied by the sounds of jazz, departing from the main avenues of
theater and opera. The unforgettable music of Ravel, Saint-Saëns, Bizet, Cemal
Reşit Rey, and Muhlis Sabahattin will be performed by the “Çiğdem Erken Caz
Quartet” group. “Evlere Şenlik Habanera Makamı,” with its emphasis on both
comedy and music in the theater, will take the audience to the bright doors of
humor and highlight the impact of art in our lives.

The Fire of Anatolia continues to burn!

The basic concept of Fire of Anatolia is a
meeting of civilizations. It is a dance por-
trait that aims at the meeting of eastern and
western cultures and gives universal messag-
es of peace. By synthesizing folk dances with
ballet, modern dance and other disciplines
of dance, it offers the world a show, a cul-
tural feast according to modern standards.
Fire of Anatolia, which takes its source from
the thousands of years of mythological and
cultural history of Anatolia, is an original
project that includes 3000 folk dance figures
and folk music compiled from almost every
region. The project, signed by Mustafa Er-
dogan, aims to introduce the peaceful fire of
Anatolia’s thousand-year-old mosaic of cul-
ture and history to the whole world.
