Allianz Türkiye Launches New Coverage Extending to Treatment Abroad for Critical Illnesses
Allianz Türkiye has expanded its Yarınlara Umut Kritik Hastalıklar Sigortası product portfolio, which provides customers with both financial protection against critical illnesses and support in accessing healthcare services, by launching the new “Advantageous International Treatment Plan.” Under this new plan, insured individuals can benefit from financial compensation coverage for 22 different critical illnesses, as well as comprehensive services under four specialized illness modules, including advanced treatment abroad, second medical opinions, personalized medicine, and treatment coordination. The plan covers treatment abroad, travel, accommodation, medication, and follow-up expenses up to an annual limit of EUR 1 million, providing total coverage of up to EUR 3 million over a 36-month treatment period. With this new offering, Allianz Türkiye aims to support its customers during critical health situations by helping alleviate the financial burden while also facilitating access to the most advanced medical services.
Allianz Türkiye has introduced the Advantageous International Treatment Plan under its Yarınlara Umut Kritik Hastalıklar Sigortası to customers, with the aim of supporting them not only financially when faced with a critical illness but also in accessing the healthcare services they need.
Covering four specialized treatment modules—Cancer, Cardiovascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Organ Transplantation—the new plan provides services such as access to healthcare providers abroad, second medical opinions from international specialists, and treatment coordination, within the limits and scope of the policy.

Supporting customers in reaching the right treatment option
The protection provided by the plan extends beyond financing treatment to helping determine the right treatment option and managing the process. Personalized treatment options can be evaluated in line with the characteristics of the illness and the latest medical developments; customers can also obtain second medical opinions from international specialists and benefit from services such as molecular profiling, advanced genetic testing, and, where appropriate, referral to clinical trials. During treatment abroad, operational processes such as travel, accommodation, hospital and physician arrangements, interpretation services, and treatment planning can also be coordinated by dedicated support teams.
Emrah Gökmen, Deputy General Manager of Health Insurance at Allianz Türkiye, commented on the new plan: “Critical illnesses can have a significant impact not only on health-related concerns but also on the financial lives of individuals and families. For this reason, we view critical illness insurance not merely as a compensation payment, but as a more comprehensive protection approach that supports customers in accessing the right healthcare services and treatment options when they need them. With the Advantageous International Treatment Plan under Yarınlara Umut Kritik Hastalıklar Sigortası, we provide our customers with financial compensation protection against 22 critical illnesses, while also offering comprehensive financial and organizational support covering international specialist opinions, personalized medicine, treatment abroad, treatment coordination, and related expenses for four specific illness modules. In this way, in the event of a critical health condition, we aim to support both our customers’ financial resilience and their access to the healthcare services they need.”
