Remed Assistance Highlights Resilience and Crisis Management at saz2026
As the Ecosystem Sponsor of the saz2026 Insurance Intermediaries Summit, Remed Assistance took part in key panel discussions on both days of the event, highlighting the strategic role of the assistance sector within the insurance ecosystem. Dr. Selçuk Tiftik, Chairman of the Board of Remed Assistance, shared his insights during the panel titled “The Role of Agents in the Service Ecosystem: Operations Management, Technology Integration and Disaster & Crisis Management” on the first day, and the session “A New Era in Corporate Risk Management and Insurance Intermediation: Reinsurance, Resilience and Sustainability” on the second day.
During the first day's panel, Tiftik emphasised the importance of ensuring uninterrupted service during disasters and crises, noting that assistance services have evolved beyond providing post-loss support to become an ecosystem that enhances the policyholder experience and strengthens operational continuity. He also highlighted that investments in technology, a robust operational infrastructure and effective coordination among stakeholders play a critical role in maintaining service quality, particularly in extraordinary circumstances.
On the second day of the summit, Tiftik focused on corporate risk management, resilience and sustainability, noting that in an evolving risk environment, companies must not only manage risks but also be prepared for potential crises. Highlighting that sustainable growth depends on strong partnerships, resilient operating models and effective service networks, Tiftik stated that the assistance sector will continue to make significant contributions to the insurance ecosystem throughout this transformation.
