Two New Senior Management Appointments at Türk Reasürans

Türk Reasürans has strengthened its senior management team with two key appointments in line with its strategic objectives and vision for sustainable growth. Under the new organizational structure, which took effect on 15 September 2026, the distribution of responsibilities within the company’s leadership team has been clarified.

Financial Affairs Management Entrusted to Dr. Ümit Aslan

Pursuant to the decisions taken, Dr. Ümit Aslan has been appointed Deputy General Manager in charge of Financial Affairs. Having assumed his new position, Aslan will oversee the Financial Reporting and Accounting, Technical Accounting, Treasury and Fund Management, Subsidiaries and Special-Purpose Entities, and Collections teams. Dr. Ümit Aslan will lead the company’s financial management processes within the framework of its vision for sustainable growth. 

A New Era Under Mehmet Emin Çelik in Three Critical Areas

Another key appointment made within Türk Reasürans, also effective as of the same date, is Mehmet Emin Çelik. Çelik has been appointed Deputy General Manager responsible for Retrocession, Risk Engineering, and Claims Management. In his new role, Çelik will oversee operations across these three strategic units and contribute to the company’s objectives.

With these two strategic appointments, Türk Reasürans has further strengthened its organizational structure in the areas of both financial affairs and operational risk and claims management.
