We aim to make the SBD not only a professional organiza
tion, but also a reference point representing the sector’s
collective wisdom.

To this end, we have established regular and constructive dia-
logue with relevant public authorities, particularly SEDDK and
SAİK. We have positioned ourselves as a stakeholder that pro-
vides input and develops proposals on regulatory changes, imple-
mentation challenges, and the strategic importance of brokerage.

We celebrated the 30th anniversary of our association with a
well-attended dinner and organized meetings and training ses-
sions to enhance interaction among members. We continued our
Broker Academy program with strong participation and updated
our curriculum. We held graduation ceremonies where we pre-
sented awards to our alumni and esteemed veteran brokers who
have contributed greatly to the profession.

By establishing relations with professional organizations abroad,
we have taken steps to increase the representation of Turkish
brokerage in the global insurance market. We represented our
country at the World Insurance Congress held in Dubai for two
consecutive years.
