Cocodema Imagine walking through the streets of Karaköy and sud-
denly stumbling upon a lush green space. Hidden in a quiet
corner of the French Passage, Cocodema is like a peaceful
oasis for those looking to take a break from the city’s hus-
tle.

Originally founded in 2017 as a plant design studio, the ven-
ue has since gained a brand-new identity and now delights
coffee and dessert lovers as well.

Created by Sibel Gürcüoğlu with a focus on upcycling and
lasting aesthetics, Cocodema greets you with a refreshing
atmosphere shaped by plants the moment you step inside.

Every detail in the space has been carefully thought out—
objects that harmonize with nature’s aesthetics and a min-
imalist yet character-filled interior design. What’s more,
most of the objects and furniture in the space are available
for purchase.

A new lifestyle space blending art, design, and gastron-
omy has opened in the heart of Istanbul: FAMI. Aiming
to be much more than a conventional venue, FAMI in-
troduces a fresh take on the city’s refined lifestyle cul-
ture with its unique atmosphere and multidisciplinary
gastro-art approach. Designed as a space where art and
design are nourished, FAMI offers its guests a different FAMI
experience at every moment. Its menu adapts to different
times of day, accompanying city dwellers from morning
breakfasts to evening gatherings. You can start your day
with homemade granola made with buffalo milk, take
a light midday break with a smoked salmon tartine or
beetroot quinoa chips, and wrap up your evening with
champagne-based cocktails and shareable plates. Pre-
pared with a minimal yet thoughtful approach, the menu
brings together aesthetics and flavor in every detail—
from Paris-Brest to white chocolate lime dessert.

Designed by architect Elif Çeçen, the space is shaped
by Art Deco influences. With high ceilings, a spacious
structure filled with natural light, and elegant yet min-
imalistic details, FAMI creates a completely different
atmosphere right in the heart of the city. While offering
a tranquil ambiance during the day, in the evening the
venue transforms into a vibrant meeting point that flows
from post-work gatherings into the night.
