Sahra Uygur Restaurant Yol Moda
Now you have a go-to place for a coffee break in Moda
or to work outside when you feel cooped up at home: Yol
Moda. The founding partners of the venue, Esra Tulgay
and architect Özgür Kayabay, are childhood friends from
Moda. As long-time residents of the neighborhood, they
have carefully considered every detail while bringing their
dream café to life. Esra Tulgay gained rich experience in
the kitchen by working with her mother at Moda’s beloved
spot, Fatoş’un Mutfağı. The two partners designed every
detail related to the venue’s concept together. Yol Moda’s
modern and spacious decor naturally brings comfort to its
visitors.
The large table in the center of the space and the Mike
Rothko paintings on the wall are focal points of the venue.
Yol Moda is a great choice for friend meet-ups, solo geta-
ways, productive work hours, and more. The fast internet
connection and spaciousness make the venue even more ap-
pealing for those working.
The menu features sourdough bread delicacies, hot sand-
wiches, and various omelet options. Choosing from the des-
serts like lemon poppy seed cake, banana bread, and tarts
might be a bit challenging. There are also options available
for special dietary needs, such as vegan sandwiches and
gluten-free brownies. It’s worth noting that a kitchen will
be added to the venue in the fall, which will expand the
menu with new offerings. Yol Moda is open every day from
09:00 to 21:00.
Sahra Uygur Restaurant has added a new flavor to Istan-
bul’s culinary exploration points. Located by the sea in Ru-
melihisarı, Sahra Uygur Restaurant takes its guests on a
delicious journey towards East Asia. Behind the venue is a
Uyghur family that has been operating in Turkey for over
20 years, allowing you to feel both experience and warmth.
The Uyghur delicacies, made with specially imported ingre-
dients from China, lamb meat, lamb tail fat, fresh doughs,
and colorful spices, succeed in appealing to all the senses. If
you’re on the lookout for different flavors, be sure to visit
Sahra Uygur Restaurant, which has taken on the mission of

ing policy aimed at appealing to everyone. The venue is open
