In the first quarter of the year, total premium production in the insurance sector increased
by 91.78% compared to the same period last year, reaching 199.2 billion TL. During this
period, the largest increase in premium production was observed in the fire and natural
disasters and health sectors, while liability insurance and health insurance were the sectors
with the most significant growth.

At the end of the first quarter of 2024, the largest increase in 23,43%
premium production was observed in the fire and natural disasters
sector. This sector saw a 145.64% increase in premium produc-
tion, while the health sector ranked second among the sectors with
the highest increase in premium production, with a 104.50% rise 11,61%
during this period. The increase in premium production for liabili-
ty insurance was 87.80%. In general damages, it was 86.52%; in
accident insurance, 85.60%; in life insurance, 81.66%; in trans-
portation insurance, 79.20%; and in vehicle insurance, 59.55%.

At the end of March, Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş. maintained its posi-
tion at the top of the general premium production ranking, with 16,11%
