Fenz İstanbul Yalı 77
Nestled beneath ancient northern plane trees on the sea-
front of Sultaniye Has in Beykoz, which houses the largest
gardens in Istanbul, Yalı 77 has emerged as a new option
for gathering with friends over good food.
Situated within the Sultaniye Park between Beykoz and
Paşabahçe, the seafront location of the venue is extreme-
ly nostalgic. Yalı 77, accommodating 150 in its garden
and 80 indoors, makes a name for itself with its delight-
ful menu. Head Chef Saim Eser is a prominent figure in
the slow food movement. Here, unique Anatolian prod-
ucts are supplied directly from the producers. The dish-
es made with ingredients sourced from gardens, markets,
and dairy farms are naturally satisfying. Throughout the
day, the stars on Yalı 77’s menu are ‘lakerda,’ marinated
sea bass, pistachio Cretan paste, ‘tekmil fava,’ and mini
stuffed meatballs... Pizzas, homemade pastas, and burgers
are among the most frequently ordered options. At Yalı
77, perfect for extended weekend breakfast gatherings, the
Bodrum tangerine, elderberry, and fig jams are tantalizing.
Furthermore, the breakfast enjoyment is enhanced with a
variety of cheeses, delightful pastries, and fresh olives. The
venue combines a cozy atmosphere with professional ser-
vice, comfort, and a rich menu, making it an ideal choice
for special event invitations.
Fenz, aiming to be the city’s most stylish, enticing, and trendy
restaurant, appeared last month in the middle of the Isti-
nye-Yeniköy line. Its luxurious décor, positioned in the mari-
na, and the breathtaking view of the Istanbul Bosphorus im-
mediately made it a focal point upon its opening. Featuring
influences from Mediterranean and Asian cuisines in its menu,
Fenz spans three floors with a Lounge, Fine Dining Restau-
rant, and Roof Bar. Renowned architect Mahmut Anlar’s dis-
tinctive touch, frequently heard of in Istanbul’s favorite dining
spots, brings a simple and sophisticated ambiance to this invit-
ing environment. Crafted by Chef Tolga Bozok, the Mediter-
ranean selection at Fenz comprises delightful starters, shared
plates, and main courses.
Each flavor on Fenz’s menu merges the richness of the Medi-
terranean with the depth of Asia. Dishes, combining seafood,
meat, vegetables, and fresh herbs, are prepared using various
cooking techniques. If you drop by Fenz for a late lunch, you
can try the healthy and satisfying alternatives in the brasserie;
after work, savor the special cocktails. During dinner, you can
indulge in a long yet highly qualitative gastronomic experi-
ence. If you intend to extend the night and socialize, continue
the entertainment with DJ performances at the Roof Bar.
