Fonduralı Cantinery at the Square

What is it? A refined restaurant at Emaar
Why should I go? To eat delicious food in a lively and positive
environment
Cem Mirap, founder of Lucca in Bebek and Cantinery at Zor-
lu, opened his latest venue in İstanbul at Emaar Shopping
Mall in Üsküdar. This has added a new restaurant to the
developing gastronomy stage of the Anatolian side. It has a
hygienic and fresh atmosphere that we are used to seeing in
restaurants adopting a healthy eating concept. Decoration is
dominated by light colors, with dynamic light fixtures that do
not strain the eyes.

What is it? A restaurant offering live music program
Why should I go? For its seafood-heavy menu
From time to time, we have been witnessing the rise of another
neighborhood with new venue openings. Fonduralı is a two-story
restaurant which has recently opened its doors in Yeniköy, the
current dynamic neighborhood of the gastronomy world. The
restaurant was opened in partnership by two of the experienced
names from the nightlife of İstanbul, namely Volkan Ercan and
İlyas Güngör. You might have already seen it in the Instagram
stories of famous people. They offer live Turkish music perfor-
mances every night except for Tuesdays on the second floor.
The bar located just beside the customers on the second floor
suddenly starts to turn and transforms into a stage. This floor
also has a terrace which will become much more attractive
during summer months. The huge mermaid relief sculpture on
the wall is the most striking feature of the restaurant, which is
largely decorated in brown colors. The open kitchen downstairs
prepares dishes that are mostly made of fresh seasonal seafood.
