                                                                Founded in 2012, Craft Beer İstanbul has exported over 100
                                                                types of beer since then. Craft Beer Lab is a legendary place
                                                                where you can taste all those beers. Beer barrels are stored
                                                                in the cold room located upstairs, and the beer is transferred
                                                                through steel pipes to the beer barrels and 35 faucets located
                                                                downstairs. This helps keep beers fresh, and customer satis-
                                                                faction high. Their approach towards beer consumption is a
                                                                culture on its own; and so they even recommend customers
                                                                which  beer  can  accompany  which  food.  For  instance,  they
                                                                recommend having London Pride, a British ale, to accompa-
                                                                ny Keşan Chopped Steak. If you are keen on observing the pe-
                                                                destrian traffic in Akaretler, you might hang out at the tables
                                                                on the street. However, the atmosphere of the lush garden in
                                                                the back will make you feel it is worth living in İstanbul. Craft
                                                                Beer Lab also lets you participate in the fun of Germans with
                                                                events organized during the time of Oktoberfest.
                                                                How is the atmosphere? A fun crowd of mostly 25-35 year-
                                                                old customers.


                                                                When to go? Evening breeze in the garden should be felt.
                                                                How is the beverage menu? Belgian beer Blanche de Namur
                                                                stands out.

       Constructed in Çengelköy in the 19th century as a warehouse,   34353
       the  building  was transformed into  a spirit factory  when a
       chimney was added in the beginning of the 20th century. This
       historical building now welcomes you as a restaurant. As you
       step down the stairs after greeting the staff, you start to be
       influenced by the atmosphere. First, you reach a wide space
       with a bar and a small live-music stage. Behind it, you see the
       impressive room of the restaurant. If you are sitting on the
       window-side, you will definitely enjoy an evening by the sea.
       While  you  are  under  the  influence  of  this  place  seeing  the
       entire Bosporus, you receive the menus. Cicchetti section in-
       cludes appetizers such as duck arancini & black truffle aioli.
       Ingredients of salads are seasonal and fresh. Baked pears &
       gorgonzola is an option we recommend. You understand the
       characteristics of the restaurant as soon as you see the china
       used to serve the meals. The owners preferred an aesthetic
       approach that gives the confidence of classics and opens space
       for  contemporary  details.  Smell  of  the  potatoes  &  ricotta
       ravioli that is served in a warm plate is the harbinger of its
       taste. Served as a single big piece, ravioli is served on sautéed
       baby spinach; and definitely leaves a mark on your palate. The
       menu was prepared by Chef Tongar Fırat and includes home-
       made pasta selections and delicious pizzas. You can finalize
       your meal with a tiramisu flavored with crispy cacao crumbs.
       But when you finish, you will not want to leave this place. If
       you are living on the European side, you can benefit from the
       exclusive boat service.
