At the end of the first quarter of 2023, the total
number of participants in the Private Pension

System was 8 million 33 thousand people, while
the number of participants included in the system
through automatic participation turned out to

be 8 million 453 thousand people. During this
period, the total fund size of the BES was 369
billion 596 million TL, and the amount of funds
received from participants included in the system
through automatic participation was 33 billion

486 million TL

The number of participants included in the system through automatic en-
rollment is growing rapidly. According to the data of the Pension Mon-
itoring Center (E.G.M.) dated 24.03.2023; the total number of partic-
ipants in BES increased by 759 thousand people compared to the same
period of the previous year and reached 8 million 33 thousand people at
the of the first quarter of the year. During this period, the number of par-
ticipants included in the system through automatic participation (OKS)
increased by 952 thousand 755 people compared to the same period last
year and amounted to 8 million 453 thousand people.
