         Who?

The dream pop project of Quebec Margaux Sauvé.

         What did she do?

Music has always been a part of the life of Margaux Sauvé, who
was born in Quebec to a family of musicians. She started playing
the violin when she was five years old. Quebec Teki went to the con-
servatory, leaving without graduating, but still continued her love
of music by playing the violin in local bands. Growing up in Quebec,
the pop music she heard on the radio didn’t appeal to her, so she
created her own. After a series of sad but exploratory singles, her
fascinating debut album ‘Heaven, Wait’ arrived in 2022. Sauvé, the
album she recorded with her partner in music and life, Louis-Éti-
enne Santais, describes it as coming out of the dark into the light.
The album paints a heartfelt portrait of a story of mourning, growth and desire. She cites Röyksopp’s song ‘Running to the
Sea’ and London Grammar as her inspirations, adding that she discovered her own voice by imitating Hannah Reid’s vocals.
You can start your concert practice by listening to the cover of The Cranberries “Zombie”.

         How?

A voice that pays homage to contemporaries like Billie Eilish and Aurora, pop songs mixed with sophisticated production.
