Equal opportunity for all employees

Believing that gender balance will add wealth to business life, Aksigorta Deputy General Manager Ayşegül Gürkale said “As WEP's principles signatory, we are very pleased to have also received the “Equal Women's Certificate in Business” with our work on gender equality on the way we came out. As Aksigorta, we are an institution that provides equal opportunities to all its employees. In order to raise awareness about gender equality awareness in the institution, we signed the Declaration on Equality at Work in 2013 and maintained gender balance within the institution with this declaration. At the same time, we also support experienced and competent female employees to move to higher positions and rise in Aksigorta and business life. If we have to put it in figures, 50.3% of the employees of our institution are women. 32% of our executive staff are women. At the same time, we have 73% female employee engagement. When we look at the seniority year ratios, we see that our female employees have a seniority year of 6.01%. In addition, we have important initiatives that will add value to women's lives inside and outside the company.”
