Fazıl Say and Genco Erkal

The world-renowned pianist and composer Fazıl Say will be performing,
continuing the traditional year-end concerts. This year, he will share the
stage with the master theater artist Genco Erkal. Organized by ACM,
the event will take place on December 23 at 9:00 PM on the 360-degree
stage at the Volkswagen Arena.

In a segment of the concert, Fazıl Say will perform not only his own
compositions but also pieces by various composers as a solo perfor-
mance. Following that, Say and Genco Erkal will present a repertoire
based on the unforgettable poems of Nâzım Hikmet, which Say was
inspired by and composed under the title “Nâzım”.

EXHIBITION

The New Season Starts at the National Reinsurance Art Gallery

Venue: National Reinsurance Art Gallery

“National Reinsurance Art Gallery” is preparing to kick off its
2023-2024 season with its first exhibition titled “Is There Anoth-
er Chance?” Curated by Melike Bayık, the exhibition will feature
works by Mehmet Ali Boran, Antonio Cosentino, Memed Erdener,
Yunus Emre Erdoğan, Kaan Fıçıcı, Şifa Girinci, Rana Kellleci, Me-
like Koçak, Aytekin Olgunsoy, Sümer Sayın, Egemen Tuncer, and
Seçil Yaylalı. The exhibition will open on November 8, 2023, and
will be on display at the National Reinsurance Art Gallery until Feb-
ruary 10, 2024. The exhibition, gathering artists creating works in
different disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography, and
video, draws attention to the symbiotic relationship between per-
sonal and collective memory while also engaging in a dialogue with
concepts such as security, belonging, tradition, and the gallery’s rich
history, trying to build a bridge.

The second exhibition of the season consists of works by Lale Çavuldur for the National Reinsurance Art Gallery. The exhibition featuring
sculptures, drawings, and found materials will be on display between February 22 and April 13, 2024.

The final exhibition of the season will consist of photographic images produced by Hasan Deniz over the past few years. This exhibition, pre-
dominantly comprising moving or printed visuals, will open on April 30, 2024, and be available for viewing until June 14, 2024.
