                                                             spending increased in

                                                             2021




                                                            According to the results of the world’s largest

                                                            IT research by KPMG and Harvey Nash, the
                                                            average  additional  IT  spending  increased
                                                            by 5 percent in 2020 during the pandemic
                                                            process globally. On the other hand, average

                                                            additional IT spending in Turkey increased
                                                            by 12% during 2021.




                                                             The CIO Survey of KPMG, which provides technology-based
                                                             services in auditing, tax, corporate finance and consulting, and
                                                             Harvey  Nash,  a  recruitment  consultancy  and  IT  outsourcing
                                                             service provider, was conducted with the participation of over
                                                             4,200 IT leaders from many different industries and geogra-
                                                             phies. The world’s most comprehensive IT survey shows that
                                                             the average october IT spend has increased by 5 percent during
                                                             the pandemic process, while looking at the operational prior-
                                                             ities of CIOs, efficiency, customer loyalty and effective use of
                                                             the workforce stand out.

                                                             According to the study, 86 percent of the participants switched
                                                             their work force to working remotely with the pandemic. More
                                                             than half of CIOs predict that remote work will continue. The
                                                             top five skills gaps revealed by the pandemic are cybersecu-
                                                             rity  (35%),  organizational  change  management  (26%),  en-
                                                             terprise architecture (22 percent), technical architecture (22
                                                             percent) and advanced analytics (22 percent). The fact that
                                                             cyber security ranks first among the investment priorities at
                                                             the beginning of the pandemic also confirms these answers. 61
                                                             percent of global CIOs participating in the research think that
