At the event, MAPFRE Sigorta’s 2024 performance, current developments in the insurance sector, and strategic priorities were addressed, while agents were presented with awards for seniority, production, and efficiency. Following the evaluation sessions, on the final day of the event, renowned artist Sıla took the stage and performed her popular songs for the entire MAPFRE Sigorta family.

Delivering the opening speech at the event, MAPFRE EMEA CEO Javier R. Moreno Gonzalez stated: “MAPFRE is an organization that stands out with its core values, partnership structure, and social vision, and that generates value through a long-term perspective. The year 2024 has been a strong reflection of stability and healthy growth. As a group, we increased our net profit by 29%, reaching 992 million euros. Our premium volume exceeded 28.1 billion euros with a 4.5% increase; on a constant currency basis, this growth reached 6.6%. Total revenue rose to 33.2 billion euros. This successful outlook was not limited to financial results. It was also confirmed by international credit rating agencies. Another key source of our financial strength is MAPFRE Re. As one of the largest reinsurance groups in the world, it operates in over 100 markets. Our wide geographical footprint, diversified business model, and disciplined risk management position us at a distinctive point in the global insurance sector. Within this global vision, Türkiye holds a privileged position. Our group regards Türkiye as a key market and continues to invest here with determination. Because we believe in Türkiye’s potential, its human capital, and the growth momentum in the insurance sector. MAPFRE Sigorta has also delivered a strong performance over the past two years, making a significant contribution to this vision. With its field effectiveness, digitalization investments, and customer-focused approach, it has written a remarkable success story in Türkiye. One of the most essential cornerstones of this vision is, of course, our business partners. I wholeheartedly believe that in the coming period, we will take this strong collaboration—built on mutual trust—even further. Together, we will move toward a future that is more agile, more digital, more customer-centric, and more sustainable,” he said.
MAPFRE Sigorta General Manager Erdinç Yurtseven also stated in his speech: “MAPFRE Group, one of the world’s largest insurance groups, operates today across five continents, providing coverage to over 31 million individuals and institutions in more than 30 countries. In 2024, we rose one place in the premium production rankings compared to the previous year, finishing the year in 12th position. Our net profit increased by 115%, whereas the sector average stood at 46%. In non-motor insurance lines, our combined ratio remained below 100%, and our return on equity reached 46%, outperforming the industry. This marks a significant step on our path toward sustainable growth and financial stability, which we highly prioritize. We shared the stage for all these achievements with our agents. In the coming period, we will continue to stand by our agents and further elevate our service quality with our vision focused on digitalization and customer centricity. With our strong financial structure, solid partnerships with our business associates, and commitment to customer satisfaction, we will decisively maintain our sustainable growth.”
