Avita 2024 Evaluation Report Announced

As a leading brand in the sector, AVİTA continued to guide Human Resources managers and organizations in 2024 with the aim of enhancing workplace productivity and profitability. The 2024 Evaluation Report on the services provided under the AVİTA Employee Assistance Program reveals the areas in which employees most frequently sought support.

Demand for Psychological Counseling Continues to Rise

According to the 2024 results of the World Happiness Report, published by the United Nations (UN) since 2012 to measure global happiness levels, Türkiye ranked 94th among more than 150 countries. The AVİTA Employee Assistance Program evaluation report supports this finding by highlighting the growing need for mental health support among employees.

Over the past five years, psychological counseling has been the most frequently used service. While this service saw high demand during the pandemic period (33%), it increased to 43% by 2024. This rise reflects the growing need for employees to protect and support their mental well-being. Among those who received psychological support, 84% sought help for themselves, 14% for their spouses or family members, and 2% consulted experts regarding their children. The most frequently addressed issues included anxiety symptoms (17%), childhood development (14%), and depressive symptoms (7%).

Of the employees who contacted AVİTA, 62% were women and 38% were men. While female employees primarily benefited from psychological counseling services, male employees most frequently sought legal advisory support.

Legal Matters and Medical Counseling Also on the Agenda

Following psychological counseling, the most in-demand service in 2024 was legal advisory, accounting for 29% of total requests. A notable increase was observed in legal consultations related specifically to landlord-tenant relationships. Another prominent area last year was medical information counseling. In this category, 9% of employees seeking support primarily requested information related to pediatric illnesses.

 Support Continued Across Various Areas

In 2024, other services requested by employees included healthy nutrition counseling (6%), financial information counseling (6%), veterinary advice (2%), and general information counseling (5%). Additionally, 1% of employees received counseling related to lower back, neck, and upper back pain, as well as office ergonomics. Over 78,000 sessions were conducted for individuals seeking support throughout 2024. Of these sessions, 44% were face-to-face, 39% were by phone, and 17% were conducted online.

With the services it provided throughout the year, the AVİTA Employee Assistance Program generated a total of 155,436 employee/hour savings, continuing to deliver added value to both organizations and employees.
