Bringing music lovers together since 2018, BacktotheSound Music Festival is taking place on May 22 at Zorlu PSM!
On Sunday, May 22, we will spend long hours in the centre of music, bringing together the original, independent and influ-
ential representatives of the local scene at %100 Studio!

On the stage, we will host the prominent, promising and cult names of the local genre, one after the other. Kadıköy-based
synth-pop/electronic rock duo GOSS, which has been influencing synth-pop, dark pop, new wave and electronic rock styles
and bringing their compositions to their listeners since 2020, will be the name that opens the doors of %100 Studio to the
festival.

After the 10 singles they released, Vincent Baykal Ada, who has been continuing his music studies solo since 2020, which
he started with the band Slingshot, will be performing their songs at the opening of the festival as they prepare to introduce
their new EP ‘Biraz Umutlu ve Çok Karanlık’ title song ‘Biraz Umutlu’’ to music lovers on Friday, May 6 with the label of
Avrupa Music (Grow). Then, Simge Pınar, who breathed new life into indie rock music with her new album Sevgigediğer,
which she released at the end of March, will give a modern live performance.

After that, Vera will take the stage and bring together her new songs and the entire collection she has created in the re-
maining years with us at a high level.

Vera was founded in Denizli in 2004 by 4 high school friends. The songs recorded in the small rehearsal studio during high
school years and distributed on the internet were followed by university and bar concerts, demo recordings and finally, the
Be ‘The Band’ Music Contest.

With the competition organised by Babajim Studios in 2011, the group found its place in the national press for the first
time. In 2012, their first self-titled EP ‘Vera’ was released. Having experienced the first turning point in their musical
journey with this Brit Rock-based album, the band has released 3 studio albums, 1 EP and many singles. The group, which
attracts attention with the influence of a different genre in each new song, has evolved from a classic rock band to a modern
music group over the years.

Vera, which made a name for itself with hits such as Mutluluk Reklamı, Saklanır Nisan and Davetsiz, rose to the Turkish
Rock charts twice a row with Deniz Kabukları and Sonsuza Kadar, which it released in 2020. Bulut Safir, the 4th piece of
the new concept series that Vera started with Cam Kenarı (2021), was released on April 15 under the Doğan Music Pro-
duction label.

Batu Akdeniz is the headlining line of our festival. Akdeniz will stay on stage for 75 minutes, and at the end of the night,
before we return to the chaos of the city, he will process his magnificent songs and classy sound in our minds.
